Hey its now April and school will soon be over!
This month we will be learning about the types of clouds and different kinds of flowers.
Each week we will talk about how different types of clouds are formed and we will explore outside to look at these types of clouds (as long April does not rain on us). Also, we will talk about different types of flowers and we will also plant our own flowers. Each student will be responsible for the care of their own flower, they will have to water it and record its growth.
For parents: there will a parent teacher conference the week of April 13th to the 17th.

I will make it to the parent teacher conference! That's really great what your doing with flowers! Then my child can help me plant flowers at home!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great idea. I think it is good that you are teaching the students to be responsible and how to take care of something independently. I hope everything works out and that it does not rain on you. Have fun.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have some good ideas here. This would also be a perfect place to implant a little botany lesson and discuss processes such as photosynthesis with students.
